I escaped the kitchen today and did some sewing - curtains for our bedroom and then finishing off some started projects I discovered when I was searching for all the kit I needed. My sewing machine was covered in thick dust and the sewing box looked like a large and messy animal (probably Littlest) had nested in it for a few years.
Sewing machines are great when they work or if you remember how to use them. Unfortunately, it's been so long since I used mine that I messed up a few times. I'll get the instruction book out tomorrow and read it again, it might save me swearing so much.
