Builly the Seal

My wife and I went out for a walk today around the local parks - You can walk out of one into the next and can work your way into the City centre without seeing one shop!

This is a statue of Billy the Seal. He used to live in a cage in Victoria Park in Cardiff in the 1940's. One year during a flood he escaped and was later caught further into the city. Rumour has it he was in a fish shop! There's even a folk song written about him. You can hear it here.
