Cutting the ties that bind.

Skinny, on the right, has always been attached at the hip to Tya, on the left. Missy came into the field four weeks or so ago and Skin either bossed Tya around away from Missy or just stood at the gate looking utterly depressed. She is now following Missy around and preferring to stand next to her rather than Tya when grazing. It will change as Skin is an alpha mare and will stop following. I'll be interested in what happens next.
