An open letter to the teething monster

Dear teething monster
I fully respect you have a job to do but do you really need to do this at 12:37am?
To me this appears to be both an inconsiderate and foolish time to start work. Why do you feel the need to wake up sleeping babies (and their mummy and daddys) in the dead of night at twenty minute intervals?
Surely if you insist on causing such pain and suffering would it not be better to do your work during the day when we could distract little people?

Please take time to consider my points but bear in mind you are most unwelcome at our house for the foreseeable future
