In a population of about 15 million people there are about 1 million orphans in Malawi. The orphanage we visited today is run by the most kind and caring man and a wonderful group of people. I was shown round by a young man of 18 years of age who had been there since he was 12 and he told me how well he had been cared for. He was a bright and motivated young man. This little chap was only a day old when he entered the orphanage. After a long cuddle and carrying him around for the afternoon it was not easy to put him down and leave him. His name is Justin.
