Santa Cruz de La Palma

We took a coach to the capital of La Palma. It is a really quaint unspoilt town. The streets are cobbled and run parallel to the port. We had a great few hours wandering the streets, sitting outside in pavement cafés and obviously shopping! :-)
Christopher Columbus set sail from La Palma and there is a life size replica of the Santa Maria. I cannot imagine sailing across the Atlantic Ocean in something so small!
