Goodbye

We said goodbye to OH's Auntie Margaret today.
It was a very somber affair and the weather was equally as gloomy with the rain lashing down as we waited to go into the crematorium.

OH is part of a big family so the wake afterwards was a huge event with aunts, uncles and cousins and their families from all over the country, some had come as far as Penzance.

This pic was taken out of the window of the bar. I thought it was very apt for the weather and how the day felt.

The weather got out nice again in the afternoon as the drinking went on and the day turned into a bit of a celebration. I'd had to return to work at lunchtime otherwise we wouldn't have been paid this month as the payroll had to be done..
