Embroidery and Old Lace!

These lovely linens have been in my mother's hopechest since 1936. My mom did the embroidery herself and added the lace edging. These are a few of the nostalgic hand made items inside the hopechest. I am still not feeling well, but I think it has peaked and I am feeling on the plus side again. Maybe one more day and it will be gone. Just a peaceful weekend in.

Today was cold, but sunny. I slept most of the day.
