Re-Start Area Christchurch

Many of the shops in central Christchurch are out of action due to the earthquake damage, this is their short-term answer. The Re-Start area is a shopping street based around shipping containers, they range from the simple to the exotic, plenty of colour and the whole area has a positive forward looking air about it. Personally I think someone should get an award for 'most innovative use of a shipping container' There's a temporary pub in Lyttleton on the same principle, but I quite liked this coffee shop in Christchurch, with it's elevated terrace and upper floor seating area it just sums up the 'won't be defeated' attitude seen in many different forms around the city.
