Walking on Water

This morning was fine and warm when we left Blenheim and headed up to St Arnaud to the lake. The Mistress and her friend wanted to do another shoot up there.

However, when arriving at the lake, it had been snowing not very far up, it was freezing cold, and the lake was flooded - both jetties were completely submerged. The small little 'stream' taht went into the lake, was a raging river.

Needless to say, the model didn't go into the lake except for on the submerged jetty. The Mistress caught her walking out to the end of the jetty with the chair - but she made it look like she was walking on water!

Because of the freezing conditions, we only spent 10 minutes at the lake before retiring to Clinkers Cafe for a hot chocolate to warm up.

The rest of the day was spent trying to find the Glenhope Railway station, but gave up when they had gone to far, then explored the Upper Moutere. The Mistress bought all her xmas presents, and is now broke! Being a mere camera, I don't understand this broke business, because she doesn't look broken to me!
