Autumn Glory..........
............and such a send-off to Summer. These Acers are giving of their best at the moment and the sun shining on this one this morning was a real bobby-dazzler!
I keep wondering if I could make room for a small one in my tiny garden - will give it some serious thought!
I have two rather large Golden Cupressus which sadly, like so many other peoples, have developed brown patches. Very reluctantly, they will have to go. Have had a job in finding anyone who will not only chop them down but will remove the roots as well. On Friday a chap who was recommended to me by the garden centre came and had a look (after me phoning him three times!) and has said he could do it for a reasonable charge and, very importantly, can take away the resulting debris. So for the time being, I'm a lady in waiting! Hope he keeps to his word!!
It is bright and sunny at the moment but the wind is getting stronger every hour - always a bit of a worry when you live in an old house. All you can really do is cross your fingers (and toes!) - Temperature is around 57 Deg.F. out of the wind so not cold.
Hope you are having a good weekend - don't get blown away!
sooc - with just a small crop.
Last years Blip was a single fallen leaf.
