Wind

The storm hasn't barely begun yet some of the gusts are already quite strong. I thought I'd try to photograph the wind. This is a long exposure of the Eucalyptus as it is buffeted in what, given the forecast, could be considered a breeze.

As I live rurally, the chances are that I'll remain without power at some point so I've set out the candles and torches at the ready and will spend the rest of the afternoon battening the hatches and securing anything in the garden that might fly. The wind is now turning from the south and fortunately, we are sheltered somewhat from the east winds.
