Apple Day

Every year friends invite us to help with their apple harvest and pressing to make apple juice & cider. Any time I am free to help it seems to rain and today was no different! I managed to miss the harvesting and arrived in time for bread & soup before getting down to the weighing and pressing the apples. The bonus for this activity - a bottle of apple juice and one of the cider vintage 2012! from the 'orchard' (one tree) of Craig&Wright. This year's crop was very healthy.
