300

I didn't think about getting to 300 blips when I started this journey. I vaguely thought that I could try taking one photo a day for a year. Within a week I was hooked... and what a journey it has been.

For those of you that don't know, my sons both have autism (and lots of other stuff too) and everyday is a struggle. Whether it be trying to get the best for them educationally, or just helping them to get through a difficult day.

Today was particularly difficult for my eldest who can't quite grasp the concept of time and for whom routine and rigidity is key. So why DO we have to turn back the clocks exactly??

My other son has a phobia of balloons. He is completely terrified of them and avoids them at all costs. This often involves lying on the floor in shopping centres and running out of restaurants.

Today he held a balloon. He threw it and caught it and kissed it. Oh my goodness how perfect for my 300th blip. My clever boy and his red balloon.

I certainly wouldn't have believed you in January if you'd have told me I'd be blipping this today!
