Breezy ...

It was pretty breezy on our walk this morning, but it was definitely the best part of the day.

In the afternoon we ventured to the treacle market in Macclesfield. The poor stall holders struggled to keep the stalls, displays and awnings from blowing away.

We bought the most gorgeous scones- apple and cinnamon and pear and ginger - and had them with a nice cup of tea when we got back home.

Now catching up on last nights X factor ... Yes I know it's pants but I can't help but watch it!! Then a little bit of downton to finish a pretty perfect half term.

Ps: is it wrong that a tiny part of me wishes the storm would blow school away?? ... ;-)
