Day 43

Natalie and I cooked dinner for Axel tonight; for some reason, that meant that we wanted to surprise him with dinner and dessert. (Why we became so fixed on this, I don't know.)

With a big pumpkin in hand, we made pumpkin gnocchi and then homemade oreos with a beer-chocolate ganache. (It feels ridiculous writing that out, but then again it was pretty ridiculous making these things.)

Most of the program came over that night, and we then took Natalie out to one of the ruin pubs.
