Autumn Colour

I've been having my first dabble in close up work recently and wanted to try a nice set piece for my first proper macro shot.
Fortunately I had loads of ingredients right outside my flat that were rich in colour and texture. I was quite struck by the fact that brown possibly looks better at this time of year than at any other and it would have been too easy to make red, green and yellow the prominent colours.
This months blip challenge is on colour and this is still my favourite colour photo from October, so this will be my entry.
