Calm Before The Storm

A windy walk along the coastal path to Brancaster Staithe. Not as frenetic as when we were there in August, but still busy with people battening down the hatches for the forecast storm. Pub lunch at the Jollies. They had a special rum-based beer on, Smuggler. 6%, dark and moreish. Hope there's some left later in the week! Then back to Marsh Retreat for an afternoon of books and papers. Could get used to this relaxing lark. Met Office says storm should hit us early Monday morning. 80 mile an hour winds or a damp squib? We'll see...
