Fallow Rutt

Took my new toy out for a road test and it performed admirably.
Fallow deer behave so differently to the Roe Deer it seems they have a totally different, unfathomable method for sorting out who's top buck. There seem to be several top males grunting and charging around the herd, seeming to take it in turns to see off potential outside interest. Quite often a battle was won and after the loser high tailed it the winner sauntered off leaving the does under another grunting males supervision.
