One of my hens

Its actually quite hard to get a good shot of hens as they move so fast, so many shots become a blurred head. This girl was fixing her eye on me - they are really very curious. If you part the feathers in the body, the skin looks just like " goosebumps" Obvious really but never appreciated how true.

Don't you like the cheek feathers - like a sideburn.

Thanks for your kind comments on yesterdays action shot. I find them rather hit and miss. ie if you take enough one or two may work.
