I went through to Forres this weekend for my birthday. This was taken on a wander at Sanquhar Pond. I'm not really happy with this one - it's quite noisy. I fired up the ISO to 3200 to get a faster shutter speed for a heron perched a fair distance away, and forgot to put it back. Appropriate number though considering I turned 32 today.

We went out tonight for dinner at the Ramnee Hotel in Forres. I had a really good meal - smoked crab, chilli and basil fettuccini to start; sea bass with mussel, leek and pancetta risotto for main; then chocolate tart with chilli and marshmallow ice cream (!) for dessert.
