Look to this Day

Dinner at Freu

After checking in fairly late, we showered and dressed for a "fancy" dinner. We had spent the day at a restoration of a medieval city called Carcassone. The faux shoppes on the old streets were fun to roam by and through. We had some warm drinks, we bought some summer shoes, and then made it to the entrance of the castle. It was a cool place to see and to explore around but most of the history lesson revolved around the man who had the vision to renovate the place in the 1850s.
Our dinner was devine and the service (Carlos) was excellent. Walker had a fresh salad and vegetable medley special. I had some prawns and then the octopus entree. We shared some very good tasting champagne. We retired to the porch for our dessert tea and coffee.
