A view from a Scot

Only a plaster cast!

During a visit to Cambridge, we called into the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. It was quite an interesting museum.

This face was entitled "Plaster Casts" and they were created in April 1884 by a London based Italian craftsman, Lorenzo Giuntini. He had joined an expedition to visit sites in central and north America.

The casts he created have been used over the years.
