Dawn - after the storm passed through

3 a.m. and the barometer was as low as I've ever seen it - my 8 year old eucalyptus was bent at right angles, the wind was howling and torrential rain was horizontal too. At 4.45 the wind veered a little and the huge crane, newly built in front of my window, swivelled to offer the least resistance. By 6 the barometer started to climb and at 7 this is the view I had. I haven't been out to inspect for damage, yet! Maybe an update later.

Larger is better - the Radisson Hotel is to the left, the Cathedral in the center and St Mary's Redcliffe to the right

Later: found one boat full of water, otherwise we got off lightly
