Maritime Museum

The Port of Fremantle house the WA Maritime Museum.

It is located on the entrance to the harbor and is designed to look like the hull of an upturned boat in a boatyard from the locations past history.

The remains of a slipways is to the right and has a decommissioned submarine on display, much to the delight of budding sub mariners... not me.

The Museum also house Australia II , the winning Americas Cup boat from back in the 1980's and is well worth a visit if in Fremantle.
