HM Coastguard Mud Rescue Unit (and friends)

High drama at low tide. A couple of tourists went for a walk with their dog and one got stuck in the mud. We were having a cuppa with Chris, John and Pasha (our hosts for the weekend) near the pier, when it all kicked-off. Excitement in Herne Bay - you wouldn’t credit it.

This evening, back home, we went with Joan to the Bob Hope Theatre to see the Jive Aces - excellent.
