Leafy gradation

I really like the veins and colour variation in these hydrangea leaves, and thankfully the sun's been out a bit this afternoon so I was able to get some light on it!

Well, the storm has hit us well and truly in this area, though the damage wasn't too severe. From here we've seen a bent aerial, a small bit of plastic fascia board split off from us and another house, and last but not least a few of our fence panels in the back garden have badly buckled! No trees down though that I can see, and we haven't had so much as a blip (excuse the pun) in our power. So we've done okay (apart from the fence I guess)!

The car also went in today by some miracle - the RAC actually had people on hand and they're taking it to a garage that will actually fix it this time instead of claiming there's no problem and sending it back to us.
