The gate to.......

This is the gate to the secret shady garden. It's a small strip of land that originally was not owned with our house or with next door's. It used to be called Gypsy Lane. We haven't been able to find out much about it, but it may have been used to gain access to the paddock on which our house was built.

It's not so shady now because the enormous beech tree next door had to be demolished but it still has many plants that like shade.

Thanks for your support yesterday when I was somewhat under pressure. Today is much calmer and the first item, the tripod, has gone into the suitcase. Suddenly there is not much room for everything else!!

We were lucky to miss the storm - just lots of heavy rain showers here.
