On Fire

We had a little wind last night, probably the bottom edge of the storm that battered the south coast of England with such tragic consequences. The sun shone for the first half of the day, then the rain began and the temperature dropped. I made a curry and we lit the wood-burning stove. It's dark now and feels like winter.
