Mobile Youth Club
Work threw up the usual miscellaneous pieces of nonsense to deal with. And deal with them, I did. All done and dusted.
Met up with pals after. Couple of drinks and a mealette (smaller than a meal, yet bigger than a snack).
Looking through all my old photos for backblipping I have realised that before I had a digi camera I rarely photographed the mundane, everyday or bizarre. The pictures are mostly of holidays and celebrations. Which does make it easier to work out the dates they were taken.
Got a bus home tonight. Well, I thought it was a bus, until I got on and realised that I had actually hitched a ride on the mobile youth club. Respect to the driver, who coped admirably with vast amount of teenagers, shrieking, shouting and playing music.
I actually felt quite with-it (is that what the youngsters say these days?), because their music wasn't too bad. At least they've all been ice-skating, so it's healthy exercise, and we are constantly told that teenagers don't do enough sport. Mind you they driver told me that they were drinking straight whisky.
