Last days of..
..Harvesting..
This could be the last harvest of the year. The Hotel is closing down for winter at the weekend, and they're not too busy just now, so this might last them..
We've done quite well this year, harvesting three times a week, we've supplied nearly all the veg for them. OK, we can't grow enough potatoes through the year, or lemons, or onions, but did do a lot of others.. 111 kg of salad leaves, 175 lettuces, 115 cucumbers, 51 kg Swiss chard, 50 kg carrots, 34 kg spinach, 30 kg broccoli, and 75 cabbages.. There were others too..
The storm didn't affect us at all, it's been quite sunny and relatively calm, but we did have a few a few heavy showers..
Goodbye Lou Reed. You lived a wild youth, but also created some wonderful music..
A cover version of a Velvet Underground, by the wonderful June Tabor..
