Windfall

The storm was merciful to me, not much damage; soot blown down the chimney, the wisteria is a little droopy and all my apples are on the ground. The trains didn't work today so I worked from home and I have got loads done... including whizzing outside to take a picture of a lovely apple.

The other thing I managed to do was call the energy company this evening. They have been over-charging me for years so they have refunded me a million quid (actually not quite a million, but it feels like it) and given me a better tariff... another windfall! All aces :0)

The third and final windfall of the day was an unexpected opportunity to Skype with my favourite little boys who live a long way away and I rarely see. They made me laugh loads!
