Stone

Tonight I enjoyed a few brews from the Stone Brewing Company, a California craft beer producer. They go in for some strange names, this dark beast is their American Strong Ale Arrogant B*stard, I also had their Sublimely Self-righteous Ale and, a few pints of my favourite Ruination IPA. Ruination is so called because it is so hoppy - over 100 on the IBU (International Bitterness Units) scale - that it has a ruinous effect on your tastebuds and after a pint of it you won't taste anything else, so may as well have the same again then :)
