Drained underground reservoir - Chorley

Didn't have the right gear, couldn't see what I was shooting at, and was wondering what on earth I had done with my 82 year old mother. I knew that we had left her zimmer frame above ground, but I didn't know where she had wandered off to and I wasn't even sure that she was still upright! Bit of a worry but she was okay.

This old reservoir was drained yesterday and is due to be blown apart and filled in tomorrow.

When we climbed out, some people above were dithering about whether they could manage the steep make-shift stairs, but when they saw my mum pulling herself out, they were shamed into it.
