Finally Fish.....

for dinner!!!

yeah for us, we had a very successful fishing trip today...we caught 7 mackerel this evening out on the water at St. Anne's Bay. It was a glorious afternoon, calm waters, warm breeze and i managed to catch my very first fish.... i was a bit freaked out i have to say....but the feelings of sadness were fleeting, as i found myself in a state of excitement...dinner!!!!
then terry started catching them too, he caught 5 and i caught 2! and altho they were quite small, they were indeed very tasty....just had a lovely dinner of fish, fresh veggies from the garden and home made wine...doesn't get much better than that!

We did do a bit of work on the barn reno's....tomorrow i start documenting the progress of the transformation!
