At 4-45 Lynne phoned me.....could I take Phil to A&E in Dumfries hospital (20 miles away) as he had torn his Achilles heel!
No problem!
So off we go ,arriving at said A &E at 5-15!
Go in ....please sit down . And wait!
And wait!
At 6-50 Phil is summoned!
I wait for him to return.
And wait!
And wait!
At 9-45 Phil reappears, trousers all torn and making a half -hearted attempt at Long John Silver!

But both of us have only one thing on our mind...........where is the nearest fast food outlet!!!
Where we ate a horse!!
