At the bridge club

Vera and Vincent chat before the evenings play starts.

Vera is well in her 80's and has had serious illnesses recently. But she still plays a mean game of bridge and is always cheerful and excellent company.
Vincent is a relative newcomer to bridge. He is a 'young' bridge player for he is not collecting his pension yet!

Both are lovely people, and it is because all at our bridge club are so friendly that the bridge is no more important than just enjoying the company of good friends.
