Waitaki Power Station Dam

As we drove towards the Waitaki Dam it looked amazing as the lake was dead calm and the water was flowing over the edge seamlessly , from a distance you could not pick out the edge for the reflections in the water, it reminded me of the over flow swimming pools you see on adverts of exotic places. It's a beautiful day both in Wanaka and Timaru.
