Wind on the Bay

This morning when I left home for a ride there was a steady breeze but by the time I arrived at Botany Bay, after mending a flat tyre along the way, it was a howling gale. According to the Mascot Airport Weather Station the wind was 70 kph with gusts to 90 kph. My legs were literally being sandblasted when I took the shot.

I know this is nothing compared to what is being experienced in the UK and Europe but it was significant enough for me to make it my blip!
