We've had a little rain recently...

This is the result of the recent rains we've had here in the UK. The point between the bank with the tree on it and the hedge just to the right is where the normally quiet, shallow stream of the River Blythe flows through Barston. As you can see, the recent rains have meant that is has broken its banks and spread out across surrounding fields. Fortunately it hadn't quite reached road level else I might have had a long detour to get to my hospital appointment this morning. I am thankful though that the St Jude storm passed well south of us and there was little or no storm damage here in the Midlands.
