Badges

Cubs being awarded badges they have worked for over the past few months. The large one being held up is JOTI, Jamboree On The Internet. It gives cubs and scouts from all over the world a chance to talk to each other using Internet Relay Chat. My two, the cap wearers in this photo, were talking to youngsters from as far afield as Denmark, Antigua, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Sussex. One of them even had a brief exchange with the real, the one and only, Bear Grylls who is world Chief Scout!
