Light Fantastic

Had to visit the hospital today first thing for a 'procedure'.

A rubbish way to begin a day - for a start, I had had to starve for the preceding 24 hours - but I was cheered, as I always am, by the two metallic couples who dance away under the light of metal candles in a blind courtyard of the hospital as you come in.

You see them through a full-length window and they always make me smile.

They are the work of Suffolk sculptor Paul Richardson and I have just learned from his website that they are called 'A Quick Step to Recovery.'

Great name, great idea.
