Red Rowan Berries!

Berries from the "Tree of Life", in Scots Folklore the Rowan (mountain ash) is a very special tree.

There's a tale the berries are so abundant for the birds to eat during a hard winter! Ohohoh hope not!

This particular tree has so many berries, the branches are laden! And oh so deep red!

It has been the loveliest of days! Blue sky, sunshine, a chilly wind though! Beautiful!
