Corn Bunting

Quite a busy day today at the university - I nipped out at lunch time to the Japanese garden, which is just next door, to eat my sandwich - I even saw a kingfisher twice on the pond.

This is a corn bunting.

Apparently they are on the red list in the UK, according to the RSPB website, due to declining numbers.
