Grand Canyon

Early start this morning and staying up till past midnight last night at the battling pianos isn't such a good idea at 5.30am. Still had great fun there.
Headed over to the Tropicana hotel for the pickup at 6.15.
Arrived at the heliport with no problems and met the pilot. A great young bloke who had spent a bit of time in the Far East before coming back to take people to the Grand Canyon.
We had the front seats on the way to the canyon. Flew over the Hoover dam and then landed on the Western Rim of the canyon.
An amazing sight on the way in and at the bottom of the canyon. Shame the sun was already up as the colours would have been fantasic at sunrise.
Spent 30 minutes having a look around, taking pictures and having a breakfast muffin washed down with champagne.
Back into the helicopter and a short hop to re-fuel before landing back at the airport.
We were dropped back at the hotel by 10.30. Great morning and worth getting up early for.
Had a sleep till later in the day and then met Mum and Dad for some food before going to see the Cirque du Soleil show 'O' at the Bellagio.
Fantastic show and well worth the money. A must see for anyone going to Vegas.
