Crafty spider

Today my little one produced this spider and was filled with pride at her crafty Halloween creation. This followed on from a spider rescue at home yesterday. We had a big spider scuttling around the living room. Now usually I'd bat it with a slipper (I know it's cruel) but not wanting to teach the same to my daughter I overcame my anxiety & picked it up (in tissue) and released it in the garden.
We've also prepared our pumpkins ready for Thursday. They're pretty simple but little T was more than happy & that makes me happy too.
