Munich Underground: 6/100 Bonner Platz
Bonner Platz underground station was opened in 1972, just before the start of the 1972 Olympic Summer Games in Munich. It is named after the square above, which in turn is named after the city of Bonn, the de facto capital of Western Germany between 1949 and 1990.
