People power

Small victory for the complainers and letter writers today (I mean me). A while ago I was irritated enough about dogs in one of our local playgrounds to write to our local Councillor.

Today was the first time I had been back to that playground since, and I was delighted to see these signs up all around the area. I only saw one dog in the playground, and the signs made me more confident about going to tell its owner to call it out of the playground.

Last night's book group was fun, with lots of cakes, goodies and chat. Books were mentioned, but not much! I managed to save some fudge at home for us - yum.
