Fishing with a spear and walking in the mangrove

Today in the morning we were taught by a couple of arborigenes how to catch fish and crabs with a spear and how to find mussels and other crustacean s in the mangrove. Walking in the mangrove was not easy. There were roots everywhere but it was a special experience. In the afternoon we had a guided walk in the rain forest and we were told how the arborigenes used it for food, medicine, rites of passage from adolescence to manhood etc. it was extremely interesting and informative.
