Don't You Think We Are Lucky These Days!!!

First of all I would like to thank everyone for their lovely comments, stars and hearts for Katie's birthday clock, she very much appreciated them :)
This is a Thornton Pickard, Tribune glass plate camera from the very early 1900's. This was my grandfathers who used to go around the country on his bike and sidecar taking loads of pictures. When he got home he used to develop and print them. Can you imagine carting this lot around, setting it up etc as its wood it's quite heavy and bulky you would have had to be a real enthusiast.
I have about 12 boxes of glass plates, 42 of which I have taken in to be developed at £4 per plate!! There are of early aircraft, their wedding photos, army camp etc should be very interesting.
